Dr Hong moved to the Bay Area as a young child and attended Union Middle School, Leigh High School and University of Santa Clara. He continued his dental education at the University of Southern California where he graduated in 1989 and returned to the Bay Area to begin his dental career. Dennis is a member in the Silicon Valley Study Group, the Santa Clara Dental Society, the California Dental Society and the American Dental Society. His aspirations for becoming a dentist began after spending many hours in the dental chair as a child. When he complained about the treatment, his mother would remark "if you think you can do better you should become a dentist". These experiences have formed his philosophy of dentistry; to care for the person as well as their teeth. You will experience his caring ways when you visit the office.
Dennis and his wife, Heather live in Los Gatos with their two children Cami and Rylie, whose pictures are displayed prominently at the front desk. During his spare time, Dr. Hong enjoys woodworking, golf, gardening and transporting his children to their many activities.
